Earned Income Tax (EIT):
   
Earned income tax is the local payroll tax that is deducted from your paycheck.  If you live in Carroll Township, the EIT rate is 1.7%.  This tax should be collected by your employer and sent to:

Real Estate and Per Capita:
 
Real Estate and Per Capita taxes are collected twice a year.  The real estate and per capita tax bills that you receive in the Spring are for the county and municipal taxes.  These taxes are collected by the elected tax collector.  Any questions concerning these taxes should be directed to:

The real estate and per capita tax bills that you receive in mid-summer are for the school district taxes.  These taxes are collected by West Perry School District and paid to the Bank of Landisburg.  Any questions concerning these taxes should be directed to:
